The rectifier diode is a semiconductor device that utilizes the unilateral conductivity of the
PN junction to convert the alternating current into a pulsating direct current. When choosing
a rectifier diode, the parameters such as maximum rectification current, maximum reverse
operating current, cut-off frequency, and reverse recovery time should be considered.
